“Walk This Way” at Museum Folkwang

The Museum Folkwang in Essen has acquired several hundred photographs by artists from the Archive of Public Protests for its collection, and this photograph of a train has been included in the exhibition Walk This Way. The photograph was taken on October 29, 2020, and depicts a Polish State Railways (PKP) train car painted black with a red lightning bolt symbol, which was used by protesters during demonstrations against new Polish abortion laws. The photo was taken on the seventh day of nationwide protests at the Warszawa-Śródmieście station. The exhibition is open from January 24 to April 27, 2025.
